One week after 0.12.0, this release is about talking to the world. The features have their own posts coming; the short list:
SCUA can now be an HTTP server, behind its own
--allow-serve grant. The JIT runs on x86-64 as well as
ARM64. wait_all and map_all run many
operations at once with no async coloring, and --io=async
makes I/O non-blocking under the hood. There is a new regex
module built so that no pattern can blow up your CPU, wired into
str and fs.grep. UDP datagrams arrived as
their own capability. And a family of small additions lands squarely on
the AI-tooling side: one-shot tool I/O on sys, JSON Schema
emission with scua schema, and b"…"
byte-string literals.
Two fixes worth calling out because they were sharp edges:
.. on bytes now concatenates bytes instead of
producing garbage, and serve verbs called without their grant now name
the exact flag to fix it.
